Ristorante Giardino in Weinheim

Ordered today in writing (email). Has been confirmed and forgotten. Had to wait 10 minutes ... but that wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, the saltimbocca was dry and tough, swam in white wine sauce ... which I personally didn't find tasty. The side salad wasn't tasty. Looked a bit dried out and almost no dressing. The beef steak was fried to the point and tender, the potatoes weren't completely cooked, the vegetables were good for my concept, not too cooked. The pizza was very good. It is also positive that the restaurant reacted immediately and apologized. You rarely experience that. thanks for that

Ten stars out of five, that would work! 😁 There were six of us to eat during our short vacation, we were welcomed in a friendly manner, served very quickly and gallantly. We had the greatest pleasure in pizzas and pasta. We wanted to buy some of the good homemade bread that is served before we eat, and we got two sticks as a present! 😁 100 percent recommendation! 👍🏼

The food is really very good and delicious, but the three stars. I find the service "expandable": We were here with a larger group, and when it was less than 15 ° C and rain (predictable, as the weather had not changed spontaneously), we were seated outside on the terrace under the awning, despite having reserved in good time. There was no cosiness because it was just too cold. The main courses came extremely delayed, although we already received the menu by email when we made the reservation and had to decide on a main course in advance, so that the restaurant was already aware of this one day in advance. Nevertheless, the first colleagues had already finished eating when the last ones got their food. It's a shame, because inside the restaurant is pretty cozy and enough service staff seem to be there.

It is disappointing that “no problem, we will do it” is associated with additional costs that are not mentioned beforehand. You should point out to the guest that a simple change in the arrangement of the tables is associated with considerable additional costs. Because of something like that, without saying a word, to end up almost double the bill and to be amazed at the anger of the guest is simply not okay and for me incomprehensible and disappointing, especially since the family celebration has come to an unpleasant end as a result. We won't celebrate here anymore.

We celebrated my grandson's baptism there yesterday. Unfortunately, very disappointing. Without prior agreement, a surcharge of € 11.50 per person was charged. Justification because of distance requirements, etc. Also for the baptized child and another small child nicht Not understandable for us. Just a rip off. This is not how you should treat your guests. Otherwise soon there won't be any more😓

We were invited to a family celebration there and were very astonished that they did not stick to previous agreements. 20 euros for cake and cover charge per person. Drinks extra, of course. I am not aware of a 7 month old infant eating cake or needing service. When you have to pay for space that all guests have to walk through to the toilet ... that's a tough job. Even in Corona times, I don't understand the restaurateur. And now that one piece of cake for 20 euros is heavy in my stomach.

Whether for lunch during the break or for a relaxing evening with friends / family. So far, the quality of all dishes has always been very good and at a reasonable and attractive price. We particularly like the very friendly and attentive service, which is never intrusive. We continue to visit the Giardino regularly ....

Espectacular pizza and great service

The restaurant is a bit hidden, for the people coming from abroad. The restaurant is located on the grounds of the tennis club. I was looking for an alternative to the NH Hotel, unfortunately I was disappointed here. The staff are attentive, but can not make up for the quality of the food. The vitello tonnato was unfortunately drowned in tuna sauce and almost tasteless. I had a pizza, unfortunately the dough was very tough and the pizza was in the oven too long. Sorry for the review, the staff is really nice.

The first time I went to this restaurant I found both the food and service were very good. The restaurant was very busy and we had a fairly large group, but we still had good service. The next time I was in the area I went back with a couple of colleagues who had not been to this restaurant before. The food and service continued to be very good. I would be happy to return to this restaurant again. Each time everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. Prices quite are reasonable.
